Genis has crowned long years successes in
the area of information solutions for public administrations based on Oracle
technologies by acquiring the Oracle Certified Partner status.
With this status Genis now also officially demonstrates to its present and
future clients on home and foreign markets its top expertise and experiences
upon the development of up-to-date information solutions which operate on the
leading Oracle technological platforms. "Beside the acquired
additional knowledges which will serve us well with our current and future
projects we expect even better cooperation with the company Oracle from the
"Oracle Certified Partner" status in more areas, for instance wider access to
information on Oracle products, promotions and acquiring additional business
deals and other advantages," said Aleš Šuštaršič, director of development in
Genis. Genis has become Oracle Certified Partner based on the
execution of the widely recognized projects of e-operation of the Slovenian
public administration. Namely the development of the basic national information
systems, such as Central population Register, Population Register, Permanent
Population Register, information system for issuing ID cards and biometric
passports and various interoperability projects, such as PanEU, eBirths and
IO-Kindergartens. To acquire the mentioned status Genis has also
taken care for the adequate training of its employees. Besides the existing OCP
and OCA Oracle certificates, the company has also acquired additional Oracle
SOA Implementation Champion, Oracle Technology Support Champion, Oracle
Database 10g Developer Champion and Oracle Database 10g or 11g Presales
Champion certificates and thus fulfilled the conditions for the "Oracle
Certified Partner" status. As forecasted in Genis, they will invest much effort
into additional professional training of the development team in the following
months and acquiring of new Oracle and Java technologies certificates.
